Bachelor's Degree in Telematics Engineering
2012 - 2015
University: Escola Superior Politècnica (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Barcelona.
Description
The degree in Telematics Engineering at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra gave me a solid foundation in the principles of telecommunications, networks and computing applied to data transmission and management. I learned to understand and work with different types of networks, communication protocols and transmission systems, as well as with the devices and platforms that enable the connection, transport and security of information in both local and distributed environments. I also gained knowledge of network and telecommunications service configuration, monitoring and optimisation.
During my studies, I developed practical skills in configuring and maintaining network equipment, managing data flows, and using software and tools for network analysis and simulation. I also learned to apply security and quality standards and best practices in network management, as well as to plan and solve complex technical problems that can arise in telecommunications environments.
In addition, the degree helped me develop analytical and teamwork skills, essential for tackling multidisciplinary projects. I can now understand how the different components of a network connect and interact, diagnose incidents, optimise resources and implement technical solutions that integrate hardware, software and communication protocol aspects. This technical and practical knowledge is what I consolidated thanks to the degree.
